Carol A. Stambaugh, MSW, LCSW, CAE
Executive Director

Carol Stambaugh received her BSW from Texas Christian University and her MSW from the University of Kansas. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings as well as community mental health. She served as the Coordinator of Residential Services for Bert Nash Mental Health Center in Lawrence, Kansas. She as also the Executive Director of Health Care Access until relocating to Arizona in 1998.

She has been the Executive Director of the AZ Chapter of NASW since October of 1998 and was recognized as Outstanding Alumna of the Year by the Department of Social Work at Texas Christian University in April of 2003. She was also named the Outstanding Chapter Executive Director by the National Association of Social Workers in 2004.  She is a past president and current member of the Arizona Society of Association Executives (AzSAE) and has held positions including Treasurer, Secretary and Committee Chair.  In June of 2006, she earned the designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives.
