About the AZ Chapter of NASW



The Arizona Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers is the largest professional association of social workers in Arizona with over 2,000 members from all over the state. The Chapter is dedicated to promoting the quality and effectiveness of social work practice in a state rich with diversity. Wherever you work, whomever you serve, the National Association of Social Workers - Arizona Chapter is your link to ideas, information, resources and the brightest and best social workers in the state. NASW offers many membership benefits including:

The Arizona Chapter is divided into four geographically-defined branches. Branch 1 includes Gila, LaPaz, Maricopa (the metro Phoenix area), Pinal and Yuma counties; Branch 2 covers Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima (Tucson area) and Santa Cruz counties; Branch 3 includes Apache, Coconino, Mohave and Navajo counties, plus the towns of Payson, Sedona and Cottonwood; and Branch 4 covers West Yavapai County, which consists of Prescott and its surrounding area. Each branch is overseen by a chairperson who organizes activities and coordinates communication in that part of the state.
