Christy McClendon, MSW
President
Having earned her degree at Spalding University, Christy holds a Master’s in Social Work with a dual focus in clinical studies and program development and management. The primary focus in her practice has been working with youth facing issues of abuse and neglect, delinquency, dependency, and poverty. Her experience includes advocating for abused and neglected children in the court process, providing individual and family counseling to at risk youth, developing volunteer based child advocacy and mentoring programs for youth, as well as serving as the director of a shelter for battered women and children. Additionally, Christy is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Social Workers-Arizona Chapter. She is a graduating member of the 2004 Chandler Leadership Institute. She serves on various councils and committees that are committed to bettering our communities by bringing awareness to substance abuse and violence issues and the needs of at-risk populations. She actively engages in her community and has volunteered time with Big Brothers and Sisters, Rape Crisis Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates and Florence Crittenton Thrift Shop.

Donna Henault
Vice President
2002-2004- employed at Renal Care Group, Inc as a Nephrology Social Worker assisting dialysis patients work through grief issues of this life changing diagnosis and discover ways to live a productive life with renal disease. From 2004-2006, I was the Phoenix Coordinator of Social Work p.r.n., a staffing agency for social workers. I marketed, networked, interviewed social workers and placed social workers in temporary positions in social service agencies who requested temporary assistance.

Bobbie Anderson

I have worked in the social work field for over 12 years, functioning as a care manager, medical social worker, program coordinator and strong advocate for my clients. I have been involved with the NASW for several years, most recently holding the office of Secretary. I have also been very involved at the Branch level, as Branch 1 Chair, Board rep and steering committee volunteer.

Holly Baumann
Treasurer
Ms. Baumann, who is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Arizona, completed her Master of Social Work degree at Boston College, with a concentration in Community Organization, Policy, Planning, and Administration. Ms. Baumann interned as a legislative aide in the Massachusetts Senate and for the Massachusetts Human Services Coalition. Holly’s previous employment includes roles as Program Director for Fundatia Noi Orizontri, a community development organization in Romania, Senior Analyst for the Department of Health Services (DHS) in the Arizona Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Budgeting, and Director of Public Policy by the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC), where she co-drafted Steven’s Law and managed a $700,000 dollar state government contract. Currently, Holly is serving as director of health policy for Children’s Action Alliance, where her focus is on health care coverage for children via government relations and community-based outreach.
